Spencer Martin, fringe NHL netminder and mostly AHL guy got his first career shutout with the Canes tonight. Was super solid for us in a couple spot starts back end of last year as well. Sounds like Andersen might be down for a couple months and think Martin has earned the chance to back up Kochetkov for the time being.
