Finished Say Nothing, now starting Landman.

 

Always reminded when starting a new Sheridan series how much he loves sweeping drone shots of vast natural landscapes.

 

Landman is definitely a Taylor Sheridan show, but goddamn BBT's screen presence makes this work. He kills it.

Pray for Pluto . If anything once this Skydance merger is over I expect Pluto to be merged into Paramount Plus.

if Pluto follows a similar model, it'll probably be folded into Paramount+ (assuming it sticks around). but i think Pluto will be fine for a while.

Watched the first episode, but didn't follow through. The season finale is next week.

There is a thread for it, but it hasn't been active.

 

I know Paramount+ is seeing a bounce back in subscribers (they turned a profit this year for the first time mainly because sports and Sheridan originals), but man they really need to fix the functionality because it still crashes on me all the time, especially when I am streaming it on my PC's browser.

 

I probably would still be a Paramount subscriber if it werent for the constant crashing and lagging.

 

I never had it crash or lag but the subtitles suck

 

Gotta say not sure we really need another show or movie about the film industry.

Speaking of Seth Rogan, I just finished Platonic the other day. Great show, he has such great chemistry with Rose Byrne.

The story wrapped up so nicely that I really hope it ends after the 1 season and doesnt get dragged out.

 

I don't get crashes in Safari, but I do consistently have to click the play button three times to actually get an episode to play.

yeah, I don't see a real narrative-based reason in having a s2 of Platonic, but I loved s1 enough that I'll happily take it

 

also Bad Sisters s2 is off to an interesting start. didn't expect the big twist in episode 2 - really fucking bold choice IMO
