Thought this was hilarious, actually. Listening to them talk about it sounds like when my wife sits down and tries to follow what I'm playing and just gives random out of context commentary. Besides, I think anyone who knows anything about Final Fantasy can take the comments in stride -- 60+ hour game probably doesn't translate well when pieced out over a few minutes. Middle Earth Entourage comment was hysterical, though.

Game looks great -- trying to rush to finish the few games I'm deep in right now to make sure I have a (relatively) clean slate for FFXV.

 

Friday. The reviews for it have been insanely good so far.

 

Came to post the fully modeled vaginas in watch dogs 2 news. That's so strange.

 

And on the Pokémon note - trying so hard to not get it. I don't need more games and I never finished X or Y but I have no willpower when it comes to gaming hype

 

my brother made a deal with me that if I beat "the main story" in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, he'll give me Pokémon Moon.

at the rate I'm beating it, I'll be done like next year.

Picking up WD2 today, never played the first one though but my girlfriend enjoys it so it should be fun seeing her play it.

Did anyone else play the FFXV Judgement demo? I don't know Japanese but it's so so so so so so so SO much better than the platinum demo. God knows why they aren't releasing it in English.

 

My thoughts as well. I'm trying to figure out what the point of having that in the game to begin with?

 

Speaking of weird things in Watch Dogs.. I'm sure it's fun and all, but whose idea was this?

 

That's about right with how hacktivists typically operate.

Depends on how they tone it. If they play it up as some good with non-irony then yeah, it's pretty shitty.

It was pretty awkward to watch. Clueless Gamer never makes it seem like the games are worth buying. This was the 'worst' of that haha.

 

$100. I spent $88 b/c I traded in FC Primal. Finished it last night.

I don't think anyone who's already interested in FFXV would take Conan's comments seriously; by now they've most likely already played another FF game before and know exactly what they'll be getting into.

 

I was legit about to drop $40 on smite gems because I'm a dummy but I stopped myself.

Totally agree, but it was still awkward to watch.

 

The people deriving critique from that conan segment are weird.

I don't expect FF to demo well, especially with a clueless gamer segment.

Still pretty apprehensive about it form a personal level tho. Definitely going to see what the general reception is like before buying.

 

That can be said about any game though - he's played quite a few odd ball games but still had a good time playing it. I've seen very few negative plays from him.
