It really does. I know they're both new games but I do wonder if metaphor gets even a tiny sale for the holidays as I'd assume atlus would be the more open of the two to discounting the game these last 2 months.

Nice to see some Outlaws updates coming, I put it down to start Dragon Age but I'll definitely hop back in when I'm done. Hopefully these will fix some of the issues I have with the game.

Outlaws, Banishers, and Flintlock are three games I want to pick up when a good sale happens.

As for the Game Awards, I just don't really care about it in general or who gets nominated. I liked the Erdtree DLC and don't have a problem getting it included. Whether a game gets recognized at a Goeff Keighley ad show or not doesnt impact my enjoyment of it. and I don't want to get sucked into gaming discourse as a whole, it's so fucking negative all the goddamn time.

Just want to play games and enjoy them. /shrug

 

I played the five-hour trial of Unicorn Overlord and enjoyed it for the most part. Not enough to buy the game yet though. Maybe on a deep discount later. Other stuff ahead of it for me.

 

For years I have been trying to get into CRPGs, the way my neurodivergent brain works makes it difficult to really invest into them and it TRULY bothers me. BUT, I have found one, Tyranny, that is an excellent beginner friendly CRPG for those who want to go into the genre. The structure of it has finally made my stupid brain able to comprehend all the stats and building that needs to go into your characters to play through the game on normal mode smoothly.

I don't think it's a well known CRPG but it is FANTASTIC. If anyone is interested. I'm realizing I enjoy the real time combat where you can pause more than straight up turn based CRPGs.

I just am happy i'm able to feel semi-competent playing one of these games, I usually feel very dumb and it's very discouraging for me.
