Despite the problems I have Xenoblade 2, I still think it’s a top-tier RPG

i started Death's Door. I think I was supposed to go beat this boss but as soon as i got the new ability i booked it to the next map haha. typical kay plays metroidvania behavior, exploration before boss fights

 

in this case it’s gotta be erdtree no doubt, I still think about that experience

 

Jeez bill and Frank’s story is way more grim in the game. Fuck man

 

Yeah their ep in the show was fantastic and a lot different. Way different tone and assumptions about their relationship in the game. Plus they’re older in the series if I recall.

 

Metaphor is all I’m thinking about now. Switching up archetype comps, completing side quests, hanging with my comrades etc. game is so good

 

One of the first games I rec to anyone with game pass, highly recommend sticking with it based on what you like

 

I just think DLCs should have their own award category, and even if that’s the case, then XC3: Future Redeemed got snubbed last year

 

I don’t think future redeemed had the sales erdtree had, not even close and thus less cultural impact which I think matters for goty

 

Yeah jrpgs that aren’t final fantasy are still pretty niche unfortunately

 

I would really like to see metpahor and rebirth get nominated

 

I think they both have a good shot considering the reviews
