the fact that MCR can sell out MetLife just blows my mind. Like, how is this NJ emo band as big as Metallica and the Rolling Stones? Especially without having an album in well over a decade. Good for them. Cant believe Thursday is playing MetLife too. Two ands Ive seen so many times back in the 00s for like $10 at a hall or Starland Ballroom.

 

That's because they are the biggest emo band. I'm going to aim for a pit ticket if not I might wait until closer to the date.

It's very cool to see them selling out venues like this and to keep getting bigger with time. They deserve every bit of their success.

 

Currently not in Florida so I slept thru when tickets went on sale there but I finally got a ticket for that show so at least that's set. Really hoping to attend every show on the tour (except Boston because I'll be in LA seeing Oasis that day) but we'll see how that goes.

 

Man, Ticketmaster really screwed me over, it forced me to change my password before joining the line. There's like 20000 ahead of me.

Fenway pretty much never puts up an accurate seating chart if it varies at all from standard. Sometimes they'll change it as the show gets closer (they did with Blink this past summer), but sometimes they just don't bother.

I'm truly, honestly, really happy the band is able to reap the benefits of their hard work and make so much money here.

That said, I wish it were more affordable for a wider range of people.

Started at 9500 for Seattle too so looks like I’m batting 0 for 3 tries today. Hopefully will find tickets to one of these dates over the next 8 months

 

Got two tickets for Seattle. $280 a piece for 30 rows back on the lower deck. Front row in the same section was $700 lol

 

Got $217 tickets in the 100 row in the center for Seattle, feeling like I majorly lucked out given the prices elsewhere in the stadium. MCR remains the only band I have ever spent over $200 on for a show, between this and the 2019 reunion show.

I’m just so excited to see how extravagant the production is going to be based on their comments of this being special

 

There is NO legislation that is going to be passed putting price ceilings on non-essential/luxury items. What DOES need to happen is more transparency in advance around ticket prices. So people at least know starting costs and can plan ahead.
