yes, since she posted her statement on this.
People can change and stand up for mistakes - like she did.

Shit, the PVRIS stretch ends a couple stops before Pittsburgh. Not 100% sure if I’ll decide to go, but that would’ve sealed the deal and made for such a fucking good show.

Oh, and I listened to “Two Faced” and dug it. Fun throwback to their early days, like it could be a Meteora deep cut or one of the bonus tracks on that anniversary release. It’s missing just enough of the juice to be proof that going full Hybrid Theory again wouldn’t actually be satisfying, but it’s also strong enough to fit what I assume (based on comments) mostly won’t be that kinda album.

Fully expect to give the full album a lot of listens tomorrow into the weekend.

Man. Those openers are fantastic. What I would give for AFI and/or Architects in front of LP

"Blown over" is a strong phrase since it never really took off in mainstream media to begin with.

No one ever really confronted them on it, the band never made a statement, and most fans chose to either ignore it or make light of it. Why should the band care if barely anyone else does?

Emily's statement, while not for nothing, was also somewhat distant, not mentioning any names or referencing scientology directly, and she still hasn't spoken on if she's still associated with scientology or not.

For my part, I honestly care about LP too much as a source of comfort to ignore their music, but I do not like this situation and until it's more satisfactorily addressed, it will still be a stain I'm going to remember.

Did emily ever apologized for verbally attacking the victims? I've been out of the loop.

isnt it incredibly dangerous for people growing up in scientology to openly admit they don't agree on scientologies beliefs?
I think it would be very hard to do so and not get threatened and violated by scientologists.

I am also not deep enough into this topic but i think it became clear here and there that she often times does not stand for what scientologists believe, yet cannot position her directly against it in public ig

Wow, Two Faced really is a complete One Step Closer clone. Hope there aren’t a bunch more songs on this that are way too similar to old LP songs

Anyone else think that Mikes vocals on Casualty are a bit jarring? I feel they could have done with another take or more time in the oven.

I think they're great. Like I said in my big post, they remind me of Page Hamilton a bit, mean sounding without getting screamy. I think it works for what's clearly a hardcore song.

This is all not incorrect, but I think it's a mistake to combine this with her statement and make a leap of logic that she, to use the current phrase, has beaten the allegations.

Personality aside, I really think that Emily's screams sound extremely cheesy

i'm torn on either the newark date because of PVRIS,
or the london date with spiritbox, since i'll be in scotland a few days later for iron maiden.

Early thoughts are a 3 out of 5 from me. A good return to form album that tugs on the nostalgia strings quite a bit. Main complaints are that it’s too short and I was just expecting something with a bit more experimentation and variation.

I'm surprised Spiritbox is part of the tour after dropping off the falling in reverse tour, I thought they would be avoiding problematic bands.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say two things:

Ronnie Radke is far more obviously problematic than Emily. There is absolutely no ambiguity there.

I'm also almost certain the only reason Spiritbox dropped off is because of very clear backlash from their fanbase. If no one complained, they probably would've stayed.

@Penlab Ronnie definitely is more problematic but Emily literally attacked sexually assaulted victims in court and Mike shinoda doubled down by going after fans who tried to call her out.
