love a real tree if simply for the smell, but they are very impractical, messy, and require upkeep. worse with a kid.

we have a fake tree. my wife agonized over which one to buy, those things can get hella expensive

 

Our tree is going up this weekend as well. We actually got a new one and had it to test it out last week, but took it down because we were having a party, otherwise I would’ve just left it up.

This is the fake tree we bought yesterday. My wife was mad because I took way too long on deciding which one to pick, as I was very attached to our previous one.
