It’s almost like they had no credibility calling him an existential threat for wanting to loudly do the awful stuff they were doing quietly

 

It’s so funny seeing that and then remembering “democracy is on the line”

 

Also it’s evident to me the exit polls showing democracy was an important issue for most people meant “illegal immigrants are going to subvert democracy by turning red states blue” and not “trump is going to destroy democracy”

 

Had a bizarre conversation with the most die-hard Harris support I knew. Mid 50s, white woman, upper middle class professional.

She was the only person I knew that was actively pushing for Harris on social media and in general conversations.

Today at work she told me and another coworker she hopes that Trump follows through on every campaign promise and inflicts as much pain as possible because “he’s the President that America deserves”.

Seems like this type of sentiment is growing amongst some democrats…I really don’t think they ever win a Presidential election again.

 

A good reason to break from them.

 

All my trans/non-binary friends would love a word with people who think like this.

 

Not an economist here…but only bright news I saw today was the dollar looking to get stronger. Living in a border city, it makes going to concerts so much cheaper…US dollar at 1.40 against the Canadian dollar today.
