Revisiting Spyro made me feel like it didn't age well and I don't really like it anymore but it gave me good memories and I'm all for more people getting to play em

For me it's probably Persona 4 or Armored Core: For Answer but I didn't play either until much later (Persona 4 being until Golden which might make it not count) so it's hard to say for me

I wasn't playing games a lot in 08 at all, was a busy time in my life

Yeahhh I'd have to say gears too. Although, lost odyssey is my personal fav from that image.

 

Gears 2 is not only the best in the franchise it’s the best game released that year: period. Light years ahead of its time.

 

I like those silly image lists of years. Post moar, my dog died overnight and I need my mind elsewhere.

 

Off the image, I’d probably go with Fable 2 but Gears is probably second for me

Thanks. He was 15 too so it's not like it was totally 100% unexpected as he had been getting signs of dementia but it really does feel like losing a family member.

 

I only played WoW up to burning crusade, I should’ve kept going tbh

 

BC and Wrath were the times to play for sure

I quit during Mists of Pandaria I believe

 

BC was so damn cool. I don’t even remember why I stopped playing but man, the amount of time I put into base WoW/BC was insane

 

I know exactly why I quit (got dumped by the person I was playing with lmao)
