Basically said that he does not reasonably believe the Democrats will come to the correct conclusions to work their way out of this situation in their own. Everything he has heard from them is that they are going to continue down the same path. You have consultants whose entire niche market is built on making candidate appear more moderate, that is all they know. You have billionaire donors who are more likely to support a candidate that isn't progressive. The only way the left can bring out real change right now is to organize and build up power on their own outside of the boundaries of the Democratic party and pressure them from the outside.
