I've only seen Voltorb (and Magnemite) in Florida, and didn't catch enough while there to evolve. Visiting my grandparents again next month hopefully will help fix that. Pretty sure that's the place I caught my one Seel, too.

 

This game likes to mess with me. During Halloween I walked my charmander to a charmeleon that was super weak. 180ish cp. since then I've come across a few charmanders but then yesterday I catch one that's like 600cp and gave me my 25th candy. So now I'm struggling to decide if I should evolve the high charmander or just keep working to that charizard seeing how as it will still take me forever anyway to get one. I've had the same situation with Ivysaur too except my Ivysaur is in the 700s but every once in a while I find a bulbasaur that's higher. They are more common for me though.

 

Never evolve to the 2nd stage until you can evolve all the way to the 3rd stage. That's my motto.

 

Unless you catch a wild second stage and just want to fill the Pokedex. I caught a Kadabra and it saved me the time of catching enough Abra for 25 candies.

 

Did candy output go down? I feel like I only got four or five from a Pikachu egg.

I mean outside of the event ending.

 

Yeah I didn't think I'd ever even get to the second stage with the starters because I'd always only seen one. I had to walk them during the event. Then after that I've seen a few charmanders but still rarely

 

Okay well of course if you don't care about CP evolve it right away. But if you do I think it's pretty obvious that while you wait for those 100 extra candies you're probably going to find a better one than you evolved to stage 2.

 

Don't live in a city so I never get to see spawn nests. Found my first rare one though, get a Ponyta every day on way home from work and I don't even have to get out of the car lol.

 

Snorlax on the tracker. Couldn't find it. Sad trombone.

 

I'm totally impatient and love immediate gratification, so I evolve immediately.

 

I think I'm done. Was standing under a gym not moving when it kicked me out for being too far halfway through a battle. The game is pretty broken and not really worth my time anymore.

 

And now the same thing with Porygon. Thank God I already had both or I would be really upset right now. They need to get a better tracker.

 

Do diglets exist?

It's possible. I do it every time. If you're moving and it disappears from the tracker, wrong direction, go back to where you first saw it. Check each street closest to the first sighting on the tracker, see if it's moving up or down. It works. Unless you're not driving like me, it might despawns by the time you find it walking.

 

Yeah I mean usually I can get it if I have enough time. I was on my way to class for the snorlax and didn't have time to hunt around. Checked one direction and was wrong. It was probably in this little gridlocked neighbourhood with tons of side streets so I didn't have time to walk every one. And for the Porygon the app was clearly broken while I was looking because it stayed on the tracker for like 500 m in one direction and nothing else was spawning or changing.

 

I didn't catch one until the last nest migration and they finally appeared.

 

My 10km eggs this week ended up being Omanyte, Magmar, and Aerodactyl. Only the Omanyte was a help.

 

Kabuto on the tracker and couldn't find him! argh.

 

I haven't been able to get anything with the eggs. I've hatched about seven this week because I got an extra incubator while leveling up... I was only able to get a single 2k egg (a Caterpie), and all the rest were 5ks. I don't know how many Sandshrews and Ekans I've hatched, but man is this game a grind... I'm just hatching 5ks to get rid of them. It's so lame.

 

It's the grind with no payoff that gets to me - why grind to get rid of a 5km egg only to get another one from the first pokestop you hit?

 

Exactly.

- Get nine 5k eggs
- Hatch nine Pokemon you don't need
- Get nine more 5k eggs from Pokestops
- Hatch nine more Pokemon you don't need
- Get eight more 5k eggs and ONE 10k egg
- Hatch fourth Pinsir from the 10k and eight more Pokemon you don't need from the 5ks
- Repeat

This is pretty much how it goes. haha. They'll never let you toss out the ones you don't need because they need that incubator money.

 

Not playing on my way to work really upped my mood

 

to be honest you're a monster if you throw an egg out on the street, you gross people

 

The "you're going too fast" made me miss an Abra this morning. Getting frustrating.
