Wasn't aware you were talking about Dunkey specifically. My bad. I don't know much about Dunkey, so I have no opinion on him.

 

the most irksome thing about all of it to me is the hordes of people claiming the only "honest" reviewers are the ones who dislike it. people were calling mortismal a sell out and all other crazy shit. like its fine if you agree with those negative reviews but their reviews arent any more or less honest than somebody who thinks the game is good. and i personally have found many things in the skill up review to be borderline dishonest (the most recent one im angry about is his insistence the cities are just overwatch maps when they're literally designed almost exactly the same way kirkwall was) especially in his framing of certain elements. its not lost on me that a month and a half ago people were making fun of him for liking star wars outlaws but even in that review i felt like he was too afraid to say with his chest how much he actually liked it because the audience would turn even harder on him

Ok so last night I was able to do Neve's msq where I went to recruit absolutely no one yet but I DID get a quest to go meet up with a grey warden. I really like the exploration aspect of this game. As I said before it's VERY GoW in regards to that.

 

Speaking of, I tried the MonHun demo and I really enjoyed it. It's the first MH that's actually "clicked" for me....also first one that I'm looking forward to too.

 

I wouldn't say I seek out vtubers or anything like that but there's people I like who happen to be vtubers for sure

 

I got put on during the pandemic when English speaking talent debuted like the rest of the world lol. As the world resumed I eventually cut back but there's some I definitely follow on YouTube cuz it's some quality content. There can be drama though, it's comparable to idol culture which is another mess.

 

the idea of mort specifically selling out is so fucking funny to me. imagine having to 100% a game -- publicly verifiable no less -- that you loathe and then lose cred is insane.

Yeah I saw that video recently too, agree with him. He also mentions the writing has no substance and treats you like a 5 year old another note I felt playing as well.

I'm very close to unlocking Reaper specialization for my warrior, really enjoy that I can have a necro type paladin esq character.

Also I just noticed Neve only has one foot.

 

Thank God for Nintendo otherwise my mental health would be empty

 

Minor nitpick about veilguard: I really wish you could preview the armor/cosmetics from the shop menu. There's some pretty cool looking stuff but there's also some BAD armor. And I'll buy and be disappointed, and right now money isn't flowing into my coffers.

My brother has never played the games and is starting with inquisition and is loving it so far. I think it’s a good intro to the world of thedas and that world and universe becomes the series key selling point

 

I felt nostalgic when I showed Varric the knife and he mentioned his brother and events in kirkwall.

 

Oh yeah and when the one warden starts talking about the ritual then quickly says “I’ve said too much already”

 

Too tired to play games tonight, too wired to go to sleep, the worst feeling

 

I've really enjoyed the small callbacks. I don't want this game to end :[

 

Bought Dragon Age to try to distract myself but that got ruined by someone on this site with zero empathy.
