The one thing I can't yet square from all of the polling and analysis I've seen is the amount of split-ticket voting that is expected in at least Arizona, Nevada, and NC. I know there has been some data since at least 2016 that despite increased polarization and party entrenchment split-ticket voting has been increasing but it seems like the levels called for this time around are way too high.

Like Ralston's prediction in NV is that Harris wins by less than half a percent, but that Rosen beats Brown by 5 points. That means either a lot of Trump/Rosen voters, or a lot of voters not selecting either candidate in one of the races.

Similarly here in NC, Robinson is historically unpopular, but the polls in the last week have him trailing Josh Stein by 10-20 points and Trump winning the state by 2. That doesn't line up for me unless a lot of Trump voters just don't vote in the governor's race.

And the polling averages in Arizona have Kari Lake down by 4 but Trump up by 2 which doesn't make sense to me.

I guess the other explanation would be pollsters overestimating Trump's support this time around as Nate Cohn said they might be doing, and as I've wishfully thought might be happening the past couple of months.

I live in PA and still don’t know if I can bring myself to vote for Kamala tomorrow. It’s gonna be a last minute decision.
