My friend says she can get me the Debut Carbon "at cost" which is $260ish (taxes already included). I'm skeptical, but she manages a big audio/video setup and sales company, so if this deal is real, I'm glad I can get it for the same cost as the ATH-LP120 would have run me.

The only things currently on the "incoming" section of my tradelist are the Mondo BTTF boxset, The Hotelier - Goodness LP on field/fawn, and the Goodness Pt. I 7". BTTF should be here tomorrow.

I've been on a mission to sell a whole bunch of records that I never listen to. It's proving to be more difficult than I imagined. I've got them listed on Discogs but only a handful have sold so far.

I'd like to think they were worth the splurge! All Dogs especially deserve a little more attention than they're getting. I'm hoping to catch them live on their current tour.

I've been posting less for sure ever since the last blow out. I used to post on ap.net yearsssss ago and just sort of stopped after a while. But I was looking through the different topics here today and saw a lot of really good conversations on issues that need to be talked about which I thought was really cool. I guess I'll see how I like it!

I bought a couple records this weekend...

Foreigner by Cat Stevens
Tennessee by Lucero
One For the Road by The Kinks
and I got Rangers and Valentines by Trapper Schoepp in the mail.

 

Most recent purchases are pretty much all Less Than Jake. Ordered all of the Hello Rockview/Losing Streak represses to the chagrin of my wallet. And then ordered 3/5 of the Live from Astoria variants...exchange rate and shipping cost are keeping me from getting all 5.

I also subscribed to the Kevin Devine Devinyl splits series so that last one arrived relatively recently as well. Was so stoked on that.

 

Triple Crown has been killing it lately. The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi.

 

Any idea on when these will be shipped, I can't remember if it said when I bought mine

I want to say it was expected to ship in May? The original product pages aren't up any more so I'm trying to check some emails and see.

 

I'm planning on purchasing a turntable in the coming month or two. Anybody have any experience with the U-Turn Orbit? Looks very promising and it starts at $179 pre-customization.

Yep, just checked a comment thread and LTJ said May ship date. I know the Live from Astoria one is late April/Early May for shipping.

Arguably the best turntable you can get at $179. Anything less expensive than that is typically not worth it. I have the orbit-plus and love it dearly.
