He says on the new album he's second in LA behind Kendrick. I think that's right based on this.

I know they were offered WWWY a couple of times and couldn't make the timing work. Wouldn't surprise me to see them play more than just this one, I don't think Warped is out of the question either considering they played the last dates in Mountain View and Atlantic City. The response to them getting announced for WWWY has been pretty positive and we're at a 20 year anniversary of the Reset EP next year.

A couple of anniversaries coming up in 2025: Plain White T's "All That We Needed", The Academy Is "Almost Here", Armor For Sleep "What To Do When You Are Dead", Mae "The Everglow".

AFS and Mae feels like the only pair that would make sense of that batch, the others would probably justify their own tour to varying degrees. Cartel + Acceptance also come to mind

Mae and The Rocket Summer had 2005 albums. And all 3 are with the same booking agency.

Sick line-up per usual! I just got into Royal Dog the other week and it's top-tier pop punk.

Zach Bryan despite this gig being his 3rd ever show in the UK... Has completely sold out his headline day at BST Festival at Hyde Park in London already!!

Yeah Royal Dog is great. Was kind of hoping for something a lil different than the Popes but I'll take it

I assume they agreed to play WWWY because they got wads of cash thrown at them.... think Warped is willing to pay them enough to get them to play?

A lot of it was members having other stuff going on; they're all older and have families now.

Seeing members of the band at more shows in the bay recently. Think they got sucked back into the scene like everyone else is rn.

I know Junior started his own company doing merch for everyone (notably NOFX), but obviously they're wrapped up so he's not devoting full time to that. Ambrose was playing drums with The Story So Far on a couple of tours; he was on their UK dates with Blink 182 for sure. I think Matt had a horrific accident a while back as well and went through some serious recovery.

Sounds like bullshit honestly and they’re only saying that because tomorrow is Halloween

Can a Black Parade album play really get people to fill stadiums across the country? They already did that at WWWY last week and they couldn't sell out the second day.

On another comment someone said: "Pumpkins said they want to do a 2025 stadium tour for the 30th of mellon collie"

Man, if these 2 tours are real, I might spent a lot traveling to the US for them.

I mean tbf that was what, 85k a day? Probably the guts 140-150k sold even if the second day wasn't sold out.

Took them months to even announce a second day for 2023 with a green day/blink coheadline, and that sold a lot slower than 2024.

Presumably it's stadiums in the 30k range max outside maybe NY/LA which seems very doable, especially if they had strong support.

Could be a mix of amphitheatres and smaller stadiums...
