Yeah I feel like there should be some process in place for a replacement ballot. I know here in Michigan, you go into your City or County Clerks office.

 

are you both registered to the same address? at least in CO, cohabitating signatures are allowed on each other's ballots. It's not unusual for it to happen when everyone is filling out their ballots together. it's not a reason to mark the ballot defective. you would just get a text/email asking you to verify your ballot when the signatures don' match.

On the one hand, I think losing Roe changes the game a bit. It's no longer "if you don't vote for us Republicans will kill Roe". Now they actually got to deliver

On the other hand, given pro abortion bills have passed a vote in deep red states I dont understand why they're isn't a push for a national amendment.
