Not even a little surprising. Sigh. Sucks, the slow motion trainwreck of knowing we didn’t do enough at WR but having to watch it play out

 

I don’t think it’s the WRs, it’s the design of the offense. There have been multiple times this season where every WR was running a hitch route on the same play.

 

It's the playcalling as far as YAC goes. Someone tracked our routes called on a player frequency and success basis and we're basically using everyone wrong. And yes including him lol

there's a time and a place where "stick" concepts like this work, but i agree with you that we call dinky shit like that too often and not when it's gonna fool anybody so it just looks like a dumb dropped pass not even past the first down marker when you needed 7 yards every time

 

I think it is very much also the receivers though. I've been debating doing a game tape article about it hahah. Even with BTJ doing an awesome job for a rookie, he's so far had to carry a lot more than his weight, and that's not a good position for a team to be in when they're spending so much money on several other veteran weapons who should be taking that pressure off
