the chick fil a thing drives me BONKERS because the order podiums are RIGHT THERE and they WORK, why is a teenager who cant use the tablet standing outside taking my order???

 

At Chick-Fil-A it makes sense to me because there's like 2 lines pouring out across the parking lot and at least then they're getting the orders during dead time where we have to wait anyway

At Cane's though it was with no line whatsoever BUT it saved me from the greeting so pros and cons

 

They do it at In N Out too

 

We’re eating left over fajitas tonight but this chicken talk (plus feeling slightly hungover) has me really craving some chicken tenders now and not craving fajitas

When I worked at a takeout restaurant my extremely socially awkward coworker was working the front and taking this women’s order, and because we just introduced wings he asked her in the most awkward way: “would you like the bone-in or the bone-out?”

 

The northwest US isn’t exactly uh, known for fried chicken lol

 

Oh same! But we ate them last night so it’s just leftovers so that doesn’t really get movement outta me

 

I like that phrasing because it could imply that if you order the bone-out you'll still get the bone on the side

 

sometimes at cane's I'll go crazy and get 3 texas toasts, one that comes with the combo, subbed slaw, and another for a snack on the drive home

It's a good fast food burger

But I don't like many fast food burgers these days, just theirs and Culvers

The fries are good well done and they kinda suck otherwise

 

give me shake shack or five guys if i want a slightly elevated fast food burger

 

"You can get animal style tho" if you have to they're bad fries

 

Oh yeah Shake Shack too duh why didn't I mention them

Five Guys is good too I just don't get it often

 

sometimes i just like to take out a personal loan to get a hamburger and fries
