I want to play so bad but I haven’t set up my gaming room yet so my switch stays in a bag rn

 

I'm at the point of no return but trying to finish as many sidequests/crystals/heart pieces/etc before I go. In true Zelda fashion, some of these quests are gated by random conditions and are kind of obscure

tbh, i'm surprised it didn't launch with Animal Crossing. it might be the most appropriate game to include.

 

It is kinda weird that is launching with Ringfit stuff of all games and instead of Animal Crossing.

Yikes, guess there was a huge data breach at Gamefreak, and maybe also Nintendo's dev portal (?). The second was mentioned by someone on Twitter, so not sure about that one, but Gamefreak has been confirmed in some articles today

 

I read the person leaking the info refuses to put out info on current gen stuff, so this basically just amounts to a history lesson and a time capsule, although Nintendo will probably still absolutely litigate the shit out of them.

 

Yeah the GameFreak stuff is real and out there

 

TLDR?

 

All I've heard so far is that the source code to every DS Pokemon game has been dumped, some old beta sprite designs for Pokemon that never came to be, some info on the latest Pokemon Legends games, details about the Detective Pikachu movie sequel and possibly a live action show for Netflix, code names for the Switch 2 and next gen Pokemon games, and personal information about employees. It was a big breach so they are likely sitting on more. There might be even more than that leaked already, I haven't read super thoroughly on it.

Sounds like they were breached 2 months ago but kept it quiet, and the hackers have only just started revealing stuff, so Gamefreak has now come clean about it

I guess Austin John has a new video on his YouTube channel showing the old beta sprite designs. Guessing it won't be up for very long lol.

A lot of them have really cool designs, not sure why they didn't make it. I wonder if they backlogged some for future generations. I know a lot of gen 2 Pokemon were already planned for when gen 1 came out

 

Pokémon dev Game Freak appears to have suffered a 'teraleak' that includes 25+ years of never-before-seen Pokémon art, assets, documents, and even canceled movies

 

just basically doing all the side stuff before the point of no return in the new Zelda. All sidequests done, all heart pieces found, max energy, max Tri power, have most of the accessories and all equipment maxed. Just messing around with the SLumber Dojo before finishing the game for real
