Hopeless in discussions to buy Fat Wreck Chords

 

While I don’t listen to NOFX much these days, I’m still pretty emotional about their end. Can’t help but feel this is the official beginning of the end of that era. 90s skate punk was so pivotal to me growing up and, just damn, lots of feelings outta nowhere.

 

Saw the second night in mass and they were really good, much better live than I’d been led to believe. Hearing the decline live was a bucket lister and will go down as an all time favorite show moment for me. Can’t speak to the California shows but overall it felt like a perfectly executed end to a band from the show I saw.

 

From what I saw, they took these pretty seriously and really put in work to sound great. I know Smelly doesn’t drink anymore and pretty sure they all stayed sober for at least these final weekend shows.

 

Need a new NOFX song on a day like today…
