Need to start prepping for the 2025 and 2026 drafts. Those PFF mocks are crazy. Each time I've done it Ward and/or Milroe is still available in Round 3.

I met Cameron Williams's dad before the Ewers injury game cuz apparently he manages the seafood place I go to a lot, he was super nice and mentioned his son played for the Longhorns cuz of my hat and shirt. He then committed a shit ton of penalties the very next game but yeah I mean the exterior of the line seems very good so good stuff

 

Sad that all the corners are going down

 

I really want Travis Hunter to play CB in the pros but I’m sure he won’t because that’s not a good business decision

 

@CarpetElf is Loveland good enough to be actually worth a 1 for a TE? (Or Fannin?) I’m starting to lean towards that and then dart throws at defense for the rest of the draft as my preferred draft as of today

 

Tyler Warren maybe too. I wouldn't hate it in the late 1st for any of them but I don't think the Colts finish the far down in the draft order

 

team is weird in that it could use just about anything and doesn’t really need anything (other than healthy and good AR), so I don’t have CB written in pen like I did at the beginning of the season, and it doesn’t help that all the top candidates keep getting hurt

secondary seems less bleak than it did at the beginning of the season with Womack, Jones, and Cross playing pretty well, but I’m also not gonna say no to Starks or a CB early

their other needs (stud off ball LB better than boring EJ Speed to pair with Zaire, a TE better than MAC/Granson, maybe another EDGE because I’m tired of not getting sacks but realistically probably not, depth RB/OL/DL) don’t feel like very good value in the first, so idk

 

I think Hunter is an elite CB in the NFL

I think he is just simply an above average WR in the NFL

but yeah it definitely makes more financial sense for him to play WR

 

Who knows what the markets look like by the time he’s up for an extension though

 

I don’t see it changing any time soon that CB is among the most volatile/random positions in terms of yearly production, so I don’t see those AAVs coming up to the same level as similar-tiered WRs (and probably especially so when you get past the elite guys and into the second/third/fourth tier of startable but not irreplaceable guys)
