my reminder I still need to play FF16

past couple of weeks I’ve finished Astro Bot, Plucky Squire, and Little Nightmares 2. need a “big” game now. might hold off until Dragon Age but also just downloaded the FF16 demo so we’ll see what happens.

 

I don't think I've seen a second of KH gameplay. No idea what you do in it. All I really know about it is that goofy dies (?) and everyone kind of hates it, even the people who love it.

Haha, I swear I saw a cutscene on YouTube that was called goofy death scene. Maybe he had just gotten hurt? He never dies and comes back to life or something like that?

He gets hit by a big boulder after knocking Mickey out of the way. He's not dead though, just unconscious for a bit. Mainly meant to get Mickey good and pissed.

Lol I had to go look this up and there really are SEVERAL videos on youtube that say “goofy death” or “goofy gets hit by a boulder and dies” or “reacting to goofy’s death”…but that’s just not what happens lol. He wakes up like a minute later, I don’t even think you’re supposed to think in the game that he’s dead.

 

To be fair, I rewatched the scene and they do get a little melodramatic about it, so it could go either way.

I'll always maintain they should've moved to id Tech. Whatever though. I don't actually care much about these kinds of videos because the only thing I care about in regards to Halo's visuals is the visual feedback for the player. Halo Infinite is GOAT tier in that aspect. Halo 5 tried to blind you every 10 feet with its visual effects and it's annoying to play because of it. Infinite has a clean style that makes it easy to tell what's going on. Hopefully they don't go hog wild on the effects because of UE5. Halo is a shooty shoot game. I'd like to see what I'm shooting at.
