Just out of curiosity, should they have added Last to Know and Savior Mode to this record?

i'd agree, but i have no clue where I'd sequence them (other than that Last to Know has to come after Savior Mode). any suggestions?

End of Ain’t it Sweet is incredibly satisfying. Any Means is such an earworm.

Yeah, perfect album. It’s just undeniably them, and it’s like a greatest hits album with all new songs, which I think is exactly how a reunion album should sound. The most minor complaint, but some of the songs felt too short. A couple times I wanted them to flesh something out a little more, like Lead Foot, but that makes it super easy to just hit play and start it over.

  15. Gonna need some time to sit with this before articulating how I feel but overall I’m happy these guys are back and doing their thing!! Loved a lot of this

Fell asleep to 'Separation' last night in preparation for this today, then looked at my memories on FB when I woke up and seen that I saw Balance with Polar Bear Club/Fireworks 13 years ago today AND saw them with Title Fight 11 years ago to the day.

So that's a spooky coincidence, and kinda seems like a sign that I should pull the trigger on the Chicago show next week, right?

That MDAM/B&C/Fireworks/PBC is one of the first concerts me and my wife went to together. Insane billing, especially since it was my first time seeing Fireworks and B&C and both have gone on to my some of my favorite bands ever.

I feel like Make Do and Mend dropped on my date, but I can't remember. Yeah it was a great show, pretty much in a coffee shop out by me.

The first (and only time) I saw Balance and Composure was with Sainthood Reps, All Get Out, and La Dispute. That was a great show.

A Little of Myself and Savior Mode would occupy a little too much of the same space, so you’d need one of those towards the front half. I think Last to Know would slot in pretty easily here.

It’s kind of crazy, but I think B&C are my second most seen band behind Coheed. They were just opening for everyone at one point, including Coheed, Manchester Orchestra, Circa Survive, Title Fight (coheadliner that time I think) La Dispute, etc.
