I thought the soda was better than the cookies tbh

 

Why did fast-food places all of a sudden decide it's better to have a kid stand outside with a tablet and laminated menu to take my order instead of letting me just drive up to the already existing speaker and giant menu?

 

the only place i see that does that is Chic Fil A and i assumed it's because there's always a minimum of 20 cars in that drivethru and it makes sense to get the orders earlier than where they had set the intercom

 

They had it at Wendy's the other day with no one in line.

 

Yeah I see it at chick fil a only around here.

 

CFA and Culvers is about it around here. In the summer Chick will have you talk to three different people to finally get your food.

I've seen it at in n out burger too but mostly coffee drive thrus. I appreciate it if I know what I want but I panic if I'm not ready

 

I dunno of there are any Safeserve cert people on here, but my power was out and fridge/freezer down for the hurricane for about 20 hours. I tossed all my meat/dairy. Should i also throw away my condiments? Are they not safe since they went from cold to warm back to cold?

 

If you've ever thought to yourself that you'd like it if someone described the concept of a reeses cup to an alien and ten years later they tried to recreate it out of sheer memory and then made the middle with chalk instead of pb, this is the snack for you. I normally wouldn't have even tried it but it was cheap at grocery outlet which I just realized is for a REASON. Grossest thing I've had in a while. Expectation vs reality

I googled it. Besides stuff with mayo in it most condiments have enough sugar or sodium that act as preservatives that they're safe if the power goes out.

I guess my butter was safe too but I tossed that before I knew that.

 

So I have to cut sugar and carbs out of my diet, and I just tried Equal in my coffee. Controversial take? It's actually sweeter than sugar and doesn't taste weird at all. I actually really like this

 

Dude what the fuck, my doctor told me to have sweet potato products instead of potatoes, so I bought alexia sweet potato fries and they have even more carbs than the mashed potatoes I usually get lol

 

I just bought keto syrup because it has less calories. I don't rly pay attention to carbs but sometimes there's crossover between keto stuff and low calories stuff. I hope it doesn't suck. I also bought real maple syrup in case it does suck

@RyanPm40 do u follow the macro barista? If you do drive thru coffee ever, he posts some pretty bomb alternative orders with macros included. Not sure how many carbs you're recommended to have a day so it may not be worth it if you're super limited, but I use his recipes for lower calorie options and I don't think I've tried a bad one yet

 

Never heard of them but I'll check it out, thanks! Honestly, I wasn't really given a number to have in a day. She just said to minimize carbs and sugar as much as possible, avoiding things like pasta and bread. I tended to eat a lot of chips, white bread, cheez its and pretzels, so hopefully just ditching those kind of things, pasta, potatoes, and breaded chicken will help me enough. Also just need to start walking every day. I work from home the majority of the time, so I've developed a very sedentary life style ever since the pandemic

My fiances mom was having a little too much fun online shopping and got us all three of these and I gotta say... The flavors are very weird but they do a fantastic job cleaning the air fryer haha

 

Are.. you eating them?
