“We have something cooking for 2025. Details should be ready in a few weeks,” Lyman told Pollstar.

I went every year and miss it. I feel better about it due to Kevin Lyman being involved. It could be good.

Went every year from like 2007-2018. I'm ready. Although I hope it goes back to being a little more punk focused.

I'm curious to see how this will play out and if blink-182 will play the first festival back.

Wonder if this will be more than 3 stops like the 25th anniversary and what prices are like with live nation involved

Oh, they're definitely going to be very expensive with Livenation/Ticketmaster involved.

I'm just hoping that whatever price they go with will be worth it.

I wonder if it will be how it used to be with mainly smaller bands that are big in the scene or more leaning towards more mainstream acts like Blink, Fall Out Boy, etc.

I hope it's a tour and not festival based, but I do feel it will be more the latter

    Might be Spider-Man...

Blink-182 has to play it once at least.

I'm excited. I've travelled the last two years for WWWY (can't go this year due to a pregnant wife), and I'll travel for this too.

Festival Owl is reporting it will only be a few select shows not a full scale tour and that “any return will likely look different from the Warped Tour we knew before.”

the kids these days will cancel it before it comes back

warped was the start of band rape culture becoming more known , it was sickening all the stories that came from it, I'm glad it was gone (i had grown out of it before most of the stories came out)

Went from 2007-2014 and then went in 2018 for the final year. I'm open to going back if the lineup is worth it

Its wild to me to see people be so excited that not only is it back by Lyman is in charge with all the shit that happened back in the day. But to each their own I suppose.

This would be awesome if it came back in its old form, but I am a bit skeptical. It was my summer event from early 2000s to about 2015 or so.

Early on, it was $10 - $12 and later peaked to about $45 or so, even getting a free comp cd and souvenir laminate ticket in my later years so it was an awesome time to see some of my favorite bands and discover a bunch more. And the shopping I did - tons of new vinyl, t-shirts, merch and free cds, stickers and such.

But with Livenation involved, I am skeptical that it would be the same. We all know they are about money so I am sure that it will be $150 and up.

And for those saying Blink !82 need to play, you might get what you wished for and pay $300 for your one day ticket.

The big headliners were normally something like Pennywise, NOFX, Bad Religion and Paramore before they started playing arenas and such so the prices were kept low and there was room to invite so many great bands.

I feel like this will be a big cash grab with a very limited amount of stages and bands.

Agreed on Blink, the purpose of Warped for me at least was to check out all the smaller bands and discover new artists while seeing some of my "bigger favorites" where you have bands that haven't hit the mainstream yet as the bigger bands. I admittedly only went 2013 and onward so I didn't experience the mall emo era. $45 in 2018 is $56 today, you're not getting that with Blink, BMTH, or ADTR on the bill. At that price the biggest bands you're getting are Four Year Strong and Knuckle Puck.

Agreed. One of the greatest things was seeing some of the newer bands you may or may not have heard or or walking by a stage and inadvertently discovering one of your new favorite bands. And a lot of these bands tour in the fall so you have a set schedule of shows to see until the next summer.
