I really hope there is a full album this time...for some reason it is a pet peeve of mine when bands just release a bunch of singles...I think it just drives my music organization nuts

 

I really think there's an album on the way. There was never this kind of band-pushed hype for the one-off singles in the past (PDLIF, AUATC, etc)

PDLIF is damn near top 10 for me tbh,

AUATC is great, but I prefer this original non chipmunked version

 

Second Nature is probably my favorite song release after i,i

 

I loooove the Alabaster DePlume sample so much. To Cy and Lee is a great record, “Visit Croatia” works so well here, and “Whisky Story Time” was one of my favorite songs of 2020 from the same record.

they kind of seem like two artists made for each other.

Dude, THANK YOU. I know lots of people hated the film (i enjoyed it) but Second Nature does not get talked about enough. It's really great.

 

I’d love a good old fashioned single, album/tour announcement on Friday.

 

Outside of "On Wrong Side" the Ilsey song Justin was featured on, this is my favorite non-album thing.. people didn't talk about this track enough either lol

such a great track for a long late night bike ride or walk

 

having done the same thing a handful of times, it genuinely feels like it was made for that and I highly recommend the experience to everyone

 

1000% However, this was right before it shifted into my first bad trip (I've done shrooms twice. First time was a life-changing positive, incredible experience. This past time was a hellish nightmare that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies).

 

Very sorry to hear that and hope you are doing well now.

Sometime in the future, you may reflect on the bad trip as something that was necessary at the time and what was supposed to happen all along, but I know it can absolutely not feel that way in the short term and depending on what actually happened, you can completely ignore this statement.

 

Agreed...love that song! Would have really loved it on a Bon Iver album instead of a soundtrack though....
