I agree but I think it's because he will pursue less obvious horrible things. For example, privatizing Medicare or nationAl right to work laws or cutting head start.

 

She is just trying to say something. No one would continue watching if she didn't.

 

Some of my friends online have mentioned it but what would any of you expect if Michelle Obama ran in 2020?

With Obama obviously being the first-man, I could see that really helping her. Has she ever stated her own policies instead of just backing Barack's policies and has she ever expressed interest in becoming president?

 

i'm going to try not to panic over any one thing until it comes to pass, mostly because there are too many things, but the floor here is so much lower than the Bush years.

The post you quoted is definitely shitty, but if you think that the average owner of an SME chose the easy route you're very mistaken. My parents have owned business and worked cripplingly hard their whole lives, and additional costs in that dimension brought on to them by the government (for example) could have very quickly become too big to handle. Many SMEs are low margin companies, so a lot of costs that seem trivial in the eyes of outsiders aren't at all trivial. That's not to say I don't support Obamacare, I do.

Looking at the current political terrain and the state of the Democratic Party, this doesn't look like it would produce a different result.
