I largely agree. Kudos to the Saints for taking care of business, especially against a good team like the Cowboys. I’ve just seen and heard about enough Saints football in recent years to not think they won’t just be mediocre

However, going for them (and the rest of the division) is getting to play against each other, as well as the Giants and Commanders. I can easily see one or two teams from that division going to the playoffs on their soft schedules alone

 

The Bucs will wreck the Saints imo, I believe they are the class of that division.

Saints have done a good job taking care of business for sure, starting 2-0 is always good, and beating the regular season Cowboys is always a tougher game. I just don’t think it’ll be sustainable

but the NFL is fucking weird so who knows

 

tbf I have no idea who is good right now. But the saints are the only team who haven’t looked bad, they should get credit for that.

 

Fields has been slinging it really well today and his numbers would be much better without some bad penalties. Going super conservative in the second half is dumb.

 

Reid and Mahomes have gotta figure out the Bengals man, kinda inexplicable to consistently struggle this much against a single opponent

I agree about the Bucs. Baker is a solid QB, he’s got some legit players around him on offense, and they’ve got some legit players on defense. I don’t think they’re going to be a great team, but I do think they’ll be good and certainly aren’t going to be a pushover.

I don’t think the Saints will be a pushover either, but I still think their OL will be a concern at some point this season. I’m surprised it wasn’t today against Micah Parsons and Demarcus Lawrence, but weird shit happens in the NFL
