Just wanted to share this old relic I found on my fb. I miss when tickets were 12 it’s now like 49-50

 

if this was from the Drug Church/Boston Manor/Trash Boat tour that was a great tour.

If these end up being like that Warped 25th anniversary fest they did five years ago, then I’m in. I’m still bummed I missed the one in Mountain View

 

Wow I totally forgot about this band. Plastic Cough was my jam for a bit

Would love a Toronto stop, but I highly doubt it. Maybe they’ll do Atlantic City again

Imagining the finances for Warped Tour in 2024 (from a consumer and organizer perspective) makes my brain hurt.

 

While we've pretty much reached peak emo nostalgia makes sense at this point. With when we were young becoming more established, the warped tour brand isn't gonna get more valuable sitting dormant. Im sure live nation has been begging to use the name again, and I guess he's finally letting them. Could see a few adjacent fest scale fest around the country, maybe leading up to when we were young, so they could keep that brand going too.

 

I imagine there's some awkwardness in using the Warped Tour brand for a handful of standing festivals like they did in 2019, seeing as the word "tour" is literally in the name. At the end of the day though I'm sure people will still flock to wherever it is. Just feels disingenuous for it to not be a traveling tour lol

I remember one year Yoohoo was a sponsor and had free samples of chocolate milk. But it was all warm and gross. Haha.

I don’t love how the only reporting on this is a YouTube guy with “sources”.

but him saying that it’ll just be a few dates, run by Livenation with a higher price point than usual & Kevin Lyman is a consultant but not directly involved all sound plausible to me. I’d always assumed if it came back those would be the circumstances

 

As badass as that was being in SF pier, 09 Warped Tour gave me one of the worst sunburns I remember no shade, the one at att park in 2012? was cool too.

 

I would go to a Warped anniversary as far as Atlantic City with a great lineup, or Chicago with a good lineup. The 2019 lineups were awesome.

 

I wonder if When We Were Young is also coming back next year, both being Livenation festivals with the same audience, I feel like a lot of people will want to skip out on When We Were Young now that Warped Tour is back and possibly closer to them and less expensive since Vegas is pricey.

 

I’d imagine now that the conversation is started, every rock publication in America and maybe even a few mainstream news outlets will hit up their sources for confirmation. If we don’t get more reporting on it by the end of the day I’m prepared to assume this is fake
