Okay, I don't like shitting on Concord because I had little problem with the designs and I think it's trendy to hate on the game, but that game would have been SO MUCH BETTER if they were all dogs

idk that's where I am sort of drawing the line, I am not super interested in MGS without Kojima.

that’s fair but MGS is such a broadly beloved franchise that there should be at least several individuals capable of taking it over for a reboot

 

I really don’t want anyone else handling MGS besides Kojima. I have no interest in anyone else writing his characters and creating stories in that world.

it's just such a hard balance to strike with the wacky and the groundedness, to give MGS both gravitas but also levity.

Sometimes even Kojima doesn't quite strike the balance.

 

The thing about Metal Gear Solid is that none of the writing or characters are good. They are a special kind of bad that I dont think anyone but Kojima can do.

I am excited for Kojimas new stealth game whatever that ends up being. Wonder if it’ll actually happen.

 

Raiden and The Boss were extremely well written in their respective games. I hear ya though.

 

The fact that Sony announced the PS5 Pro at such an extreme price point while raising their prices for their currently released hardware/accessories globally is such a colossal fuck you to consumers.

I'm seriously about to jump ship on everyone except Nintendo right now. At least their hardware is unique and games are custom made with it in mind.

GTA VI will *not* be 60fps on the PS5 Pro.

 

The Bot of War world was great as is the hub world in Astro Bot

 

playing gta on console was always annoying because car and foot traffic was like 10% of what it was on PC
