just at their peak, Thursday was way bigger and I would assume kind of looked down on Silverstein as not a super credibly band.

 

I think it’s safe to assume that Thursday is much less popular than Silverstein at this point. Silverstein has consistently put out albums and toured and maintained a solid fan base.

Thursday has done nothing but toured the same two albums, or similar setlists since they’ve reunited. If they were back 100% and managed to make new music after reuniting and were more consistent, they probably wouldn’t be in that boat. They released that single earlier this year, but idk if it did much

 

Yeah, in 2024 this makes perfect sense. That Hawthorne Heights opening slot felt way stranger to me... But if you had told me at any point between like, 2003 and that first Thursday break-up/hiatus that this tour would eventually happen I don't know that I would have believed you. Haha.

 

I guess I should have said as compared to 2005

 

I've always kinda thought they'd be friends & share a bond about how much Victory Records fucked them
