Edited out part of my post that I took as being true from the tweets above, but I guess they actually did try to pursue a sequel and got shot down by Sony. Still, it's not like it was a failure.

 

So if Bloodborne did better what is the excuse for us not seeing more from it?

i hadnt even heard of this game but apparently it got a pc port two years after its initial release? why does it take TLOU 1 and 2 so long?

Days Gone was definitely one of those games that people picked up for cheap and discovered it that way, wasn’t it a PS+ title too at some point?

 

Sony is too busy trying to come up with original IPs since they don’t have any.

 

Because no one is going to buy a PS5 for Days Gone.

Oh was it? I read on Wiki that Sony wanted them to use other properties instead or something, or maybe they just rejected their initial pitch. Anyway, thanks for clarifying.

 

I started RE3 remake today for the first time. Idk why I skipped this one when it came out, resident evil is my favorite series and this one is fantastic. I think it got a little bit of a meh reaction on release coming so soon after 2, but it’s been long enough since I played that one that this feels super fun! Re3 is also my least favorite of the original games, so that’s probably another reason I skipped this remake. But I’m really glad I finally got around to it, loving how tense it is so far.

 

Guy should have tried making Days Gone not boring and tedious

 

The characters, primarily the main one, were insufferable

 

the only two games I played less than an hour and dropped was rockay crime city and days gone lol

 

I heard they deleted chunks of the original game when they made re3 remake

 

true, some stuff is missing, yet RE3 remake remains an incredible entertaining roller coaster of a video game. Straight up banger.

 

Only reason I didn’t play it was cuz I remember reviews at the time saying how short it was and I was knee deep in other games. Should probably pick it up on sale for spooky szn

 

If they did, I feel like the stuff they added more than makes up for it so far.

 

No clock tower, no park, no giant worm, no multiple scenarios... just sayin...

 

Oh is there really no clock tower? That’s disappointing, that’s like the one part of the original game I even remember lol.

 

I was loving Resi 2 remake but on my save I got stuck very hard between getting insta killed by lickers or Mr x depending on which direction I walked. I just gave up. And I really have never not beat a horror game I was actually interested in before like this.

 

God REmake 2 is so fucking good

I have had RDR2 for years but finally put in the effort to actually finish it. What a beautiful game.

The final battle with Micah was easy once I decided to spam him with fire bottles

 

Late to the discussion but hopefully Astro Bot convinces Sony to make more platformers.
