Vamp is fun!

 

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice really gets going in the second half, lots of fun once it finds its footing. It's a low bar, but much, much better than the new Ghostbusters movies lol.

The Deliverance was actually pretty great, surprised to see some negative things when searching this thread!

 

I'm gonna be real, I low-key loved Spirit Halloween: The Movie for what it is, which is a sub-80-minute ad replicating DCOMs with Christopher Lloyd voicing walking talking animatronics

got a sixpack of beer and the Poltergeist trilogy on deck tonight. never seen the sequels

first one is an absolute classic obviously but I have one big problem with it. the dog is way too fucking adorable. I spend the whole movie so worried about the dog it's hard to focus on what's actually happening

 

these movies are getting sillier but I'm getting drunker so that's alright. loved the braces scene in 2, gnarly as hell

I don't really know that all the backstory they added was necessary but goddamn Reverend Kane is mega creepy

Damn, this movie rules. Not exactly horror, but more of a black comedy from Hitchcock. Very funny and weird with fall vibes maxed out.

 

Really fun time watching Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

didn't get to Poltergeist III last night cos I fell asleep but might throw it on tonight. was impressed how much I enjoyed II. H.R. Giger doing the monster designs for that one is wild
