I guess I do enjoy doing wings in my air fryer

 

I miss having an air fryer

 

We can't have the air fryer and AC on at the same time or else it kicks the breaker. Sucks when it's 100 degrees and you don't want to cook in the oven or stove.

Prob not that controversial but oysters rly are just like giant boogers, huh? Texturally.

 

Never had one but I agree on the look

 

I love seafood but don't really understand the love for shellfish like steamers, mussels or raw bar stuff. Just the worst textures. I'll do a stuffed quahog all day though.

 

don't love oysters but do enjoy a couple every now and then. having a few with a cold allagash white or glass of champagne in the summer is peak. also mussels in a garlic white wine broth with some crusty bread for dunking is a top tier dish

 

Having chargrilled oysters in New Orleans with some crusty bread is one of my favorite food experiences.

Mussels are one of my top foods. I think I've tried them just about everywhere that I frequent in town that makes them. Can't resist. Some places get wild with them these days (red curry, kimchi etc). and some are good, but the classic garlic white wine can't be beat. Rarely do they give enough bread though...

Oysters when in the mood and right environment are great The 'brinier' the better. Visually ya, boogerish... but taste wise? Divine.

I also love new England steamer clams too.

 

I think I would only feel comfortable getting mussels in a place where it is like fishery to table fresh.

Like I am from Tampa Bay and the seafood I feel most comfortable ordering is Grouper and Stone Crab because I know it is fresh because it's locally caught here.

 

All seafood is gross, especially lobster, clams, mussels, etc

we probably had this conversation before but are shrimp the most overrated seafood dish of the big hitters in that category? I say this as someone who enjoys shrimp quite a bit

 

sure a lot of people will answer with lobster and fair enough. I just disagree

 

lobster salmon and tuna for the same reason, overfishing is so unnecessary

Nah as someone lukewarm on seafood popcorn shrimp are one of my exceptions.

 

Shrimp in pasta, a sandwich (poboy) etc. isn't anything too exciting..

Peel and eat shrimp? Top tier when done right. Hot or cold.

 

I enjoy lobster but so often it’s cooked poorly and it’s just rubber and bad.
