There's new Joyce Manor today?

Boston Manor has always been a fun/gym go to for me but this new one is doing absolutely nothing for me.

 

New Airborne Toxic Event album out today "Glory"

This is the band who broke out with Sometime Around Midnight and has released good albums since, just haven't had a single reach that peek and aren't big on here.

 

I shared the singles/pre-order in here a few weeks ago, but the full album is now out, only on Bandcamp! Vivian-i is a project dedicated to my daughter's first birthday, with songs I've written for her throughout her first year, plus a few silly songs. I'm really proud of it - I think "Vivi Jig" is a jam, "Making Memories" might be the craAaAaziest thing I've ever made, and "Carseat" might be the prettiest. I hope y'all will check it out!

This is also the first time Bandcamp has brought back Bandcamp Friday in a few months, so if any of you are able to support me or other artists on the platform, today would be the day to do it!

As for new releases, I'm mostly excited to check out the new EPs from Lakes and Gable Price & Friends.

 

if you’re looking for fast, catchy, energetic skate punk then do yourself a favour and check out the new album from feeble attempt. It features 9 different guest vocalists including Adam from homegrown, Peter from over it, and Josh from dogwood! Would be honoured if you took the time to check it out!

 

Still torn about the new Linkin Park single / the fact that they exist with a new singer. I think, ultimately, I would have rather them gone the Rage Against the Machine route and just renamed the band. Sure, you can play songs from the Chester era, but at a certain point a singer and their lyrics are too ingrained into a band to just "get a new singer".

 

• Together to the Stars -- post-black metal. some beautiful, soaring passages, some haunting passages, always great.
• Many Eyes -- Keith Buckley's new project
  
• Eldamar -- epic, atmospheric black metal.
• Pure Reason Revolution -- some 90's alt rock mixed with some Steven Wilson.
• Boston Manor -- great rock.
• Pyrrhon -- off-kilter/experimental death metal. I like this band as much as I hate their latest album cover. And I really hate the cover.
• God is an Astronaut -- instrumental post-rock. Pretty varied.
  
• Black Sites -- heavy prog
• Echotide -- laid-back, cinematic, instrumental post-rock. i enjoy the piano melodies.
• Papangu -- a more 70's inspired Coma Ecliptic-era BTBAM-like album
• Wolfheart -- pretty good melodeath
• Castle -- stoner metal. big riffs. yum.

After being part of this website for a while and always seeing other people post their own music, I finally get to say....

My band has our first EP (and my first ever music project) out on bandcamp today! We're called SON/BOY and we're from Minneapolis. Come say hi at a show if you're local.

Side Note: We've had some difficulty with other music distributors because apparently having a slash (/) in your band name is an issue... Anyone else have experience with music distributors and names with weird formats?

Where is this new Joyce Manor?

 

The new MJ Lenderman record is so good. Checking Toro y Moi now and excited for God is an Astronaut.

Also, TIDAL again messed up with a new release and put Bleachers 'A Stranger Desired' in place of 'Strange Desire', so that no longer exists it seems, and 'A Stranger Desired' is listed in 2014 so it doesn't show as a new listing. They also did that with The Dear Hunter's Act II when the live version released, and that is still not fixed.

 

I’m glad I’m not the only who couldn’t figure out the formatting for posting stuff lol. I feel like I’d definitely The Menzingers to your RIYL! Production sounds pretty good!
