I actually wouldn't be surprised if Palin wins in 2024. Remember now, she "tells it like it is"! That's apparently all you need to do now. Also, don't be surprised if Ted Nugent becomes a very, very serious contender.

It's hard dealing with my students today. So many of them are gloating. And I know they don't actually understand what's going on and are parroting some of the backward views of their parents. But I just can't figure out how to even talk to them about it when it feels like this.

 

Oh man, I truly feel for you. It's like you're getting a first hand sneak preview of the persistent hateful attitudes that our country may face for years to come.

 

Hmm, ABC said Trump has less votes than McCain and Romney did. Saying, essentially, 4-5 million democrat votes were not made yesterday. And the big question of course, will be why.

Idek how to deal with today. I wish election day was on a Friday so I could sulk in bed all weekend. I have to get up in an hour to work with kids and put a smile on my face and act fake peppy and it's not gonna be believable so they're gonna get outta control and I'm gonna get off work and cry lol. it'll be worse watching their fits and tantrums knowing that our president has the same temperament.

The best I can do today is to repeatedly remind them that we need to be ready to defend people's rights and speak out against any attempt to curb them. I should probably do better. But it's the best I've got right now.
