My heart aches at the thought of the increasing violence to come against black, Latino, Asian, LGBT, women, Muslim, Jewish, disabled people in the next four years.

 

I would've been distraught if Cruz or Rubio won but I think I could accept it and "deal" a lot easier than THIS. This is surreal.

 

And I hope she's giving a public concession speech to her supporters. Otherwise that's a really bad look.

The Trump and Johnson numbers together are very sobering look at our country's future.

 

Millennials not voting enough is a problem that has caused a lot of mayhem in 2016. "Wahwah, she's not inspiring, wahwah, she's not 100% what I personally want, wahwah" is what handed Trump the victory. Yes, he found a new group of voters, but they would not have been enough.

 

I feel so empty. I feel hopeless. And all we can do is watch. This is what depression feels like.

 

What makes you think he'll do anything TBH? What if he doesn't like it and just decides to sit on his ass?

 

The weather here in DC is rainy and gray, how fitting.

 

Can't imagine how such a large percentage of America can be happy right now.

 

I know people dismiss the Hitler comparisons as dramatic but historically speaking this is a pretty similar rise to power. The most dangerous thing you can do is to be content. Stay angry. This country and way of life IS worth fighting for

guy that sits next to me in work said "i'd vote for trump just as a fuck you to everyone else". these people are fucking horrific.

 

Close to 100%. This is a pretty clear mandate of what a majority of the country wants. It just happens to be frightening as hell.

 

So much for wanting to start a family in the next few years.

 

That's how half of America feels. Social issues don't matter to them, and it's frightening.
