I’ll always bring it back to this: there were incidents of slave revolts or Native American rebellions that killed civilians, and i don’t think we’re in a place to judge slaves who were brutalized for centuries or Native Americans who experienced a systematic genocide for how they responded when confronted with reality. I personally don’t think killing innocent people is a Good Thing, but i understand how and why it happens when an oppressor puts people in that position.
