Won't spoil it but there are pics out there of Josh O'Connor in costume and it is interesting lol. Can't wait to see the plot/set up of this one.

Maybe George Clooney and Brad Pitt are making cameos.

if that's true, they need to show this shit in as many theaters as possible/put out physical copies. that's too huge a budget to just show in theaters for a week and then throw on streaming.

If it's true I wouldn't be surprised if most of the budget went to the cast and it's a hell of a star studded cast though!

My first thought too. It’s also the last one Netflix is guaranteed to have, so they probably threw even more money at him to make it bigger. I don’t really know how pay works for cameos, but I can’t imagine this doesn’t have some huge secret cameos.

Benoit Blanc actually has a CGI sidekick talking raccoon in this which is where all the money went towards

Hollywood has always pulled this shit with sequels, so it’s not like this isn’t the usual crap we get. The people running Hollywood are not capable of learning why something works and doesn’t work. And then when the sequel inevitably fails, they blame something that had nothing to do with it.

The 2nd movie had the same budget as the 1st and it wasn’t a hit for them. Their brains think more money will solve the problem instead of seeing any other issues it had. Lol

other than some people just not liking the plot as much, i don't think i've seen much about Glass Onion not being as big of a success? was viewership poor?

I don’t recall reading that Glass Onion wasn’t a success. It’s limited theatrical run brought in a good chunk of change and I think it actually had decent streaming numbers iirc. It’s also the rare Netflix movie that I’ve actually heard people talk about in the wild. Not that that’s real evidence of success.
