Hopefully by November I’ll have recovered my desire to play video games again

 

I’ve seen journalists talking about how mark kern/grummz and his following of trogodytes is starting to obliterate their ability to do real criticism or journalism between making writers legitimately scared to be honest and investors/backers wanting to see both sides of the story I would expect a lot of tepid reviews for otherwise great games in the coming months/year. I am not looking forward to seeing how Veilguard is received on launch.

 

All 3 hoyo games, DA:I, and future redeemed are my current time sinks. I think D4 is the closest I have so I gotta crunch out what I can.

 

I genuinely have no idea!!! Haha

 

Tepid is one thing but so far giving this a 4/10 seems like journalistic malpractice

 

The game is gorgeous

 

Been playing Daybreak still, almost through chapter 3. Really enjoying it, nice change of pace with the smaller group after the 30 different party members in Reverie lol

Probably will give Animal Well a go after I finish Daybreak.

 

Sadly had to bow out from my Ubisoft+ Subscription and Star Wars Outlaws as the game is ... not compatible with my version of Windows. It crashes to desktop for everybody after 2-5 minutes. Sad times. :(

Outlaws is a great mix of AC/TR, the Arkham games and a splash of Splinter Cell. Yep, this game rules.

 

gotta finish trails through daybreak so I can continue with smtvv while playing zzz, genshin and HSR. Then grabbing marvel vs capcom, p3 - the answer expansion and reynatis in September but gosh wtf is october, there’s so much shit out by then lol

 

I just want those damn remasters for switch they delayed months ago :(

 

Playing some GTA IV on Steam Deck as it was £5 on Steam for the next few days or so. Game runs beautifully at 60 FPS and Niko is hands down the best GTA protagonist haha, still don’t like the driving feel on it though

 

My new computer and external hard drive arrived, so right now I'm backing up my old computer in multiple ways as to not take any chances. I figure that's as much as I'll be able to do tonight, and tomorrow I'll start rockin' and rollin'.

The funny thing is the computer came with a part that nothing on the box or manual explained, but I looked it up and figured out it's an ASUS wireless antenna. Apparently a lot of people who bought IBUYPOWER computers got a similar device and had a similar question about what it is, leading to some pretty hilarious answers on Reddit.

On the Trails remake, I'm torn between wanting it to do well so the others get remade and wanting to hold out for a Steam version if it's only coming to Switch initially. Not sure what to do here.

 

I beat this game on deck earlier this year and I loved almost all of it. I got used to the driving but I did utilize taxis for the first time ever playing a gta game lol

 

I downloaded Vampire Survivors on PS5 and did a run. It plays a lot better than on mobile and Switch the few times I’ve tried it. It seems like there’s lots to unlock and some DLC too. Fun so far.
