New iOS 18.1 beta, has Clean Up in Photos. It's fine but it doesn't compare to what I worked with in Lightroom over the weekend.

 

While I'm leaning towards returning the Ultra I've been playing with for like 6 weeks now, I just checked the battery health on my Series 7 and it's down to 93% after being replaced in October by Apple under warranty. I wish I knew what was up with the Series 7 that just makes it so bad battery-wise.

I should live with my Series 7 for a few days before the weekend and see how I get by. Battery life has been absolutely atrocious with it anyway but I could also do a wait and see with the upcoming event.

 

Finally took my Apple Watch Ultra to get diagnosed. They acknowledged that it does seem to die faster than it should but the battery capacity is still 88%. So it was basically “hmmm weird… try unpairing and re pairing. Next!”

 

I get them needing a threshold for automatic replacement but it's like...ok? Frustrating at times especially when all I've done is use my Series 7 like anyone else for 10 months and it's already lost that much capacity.

 

lol that’s exactly what she said. She was like hmm you don’t use it any differently than anyone else. Weird. Then that was it lol. Waited an hour for that

 

I've gotten that before, too. 80% is pretty much concrete with them, sometimes you're able to chat in for a replacement around 82-83%, I did that last year.

 

quick little iOS question I’ve been wondering for a long time: is there anyway to re-order your Lock Screen wallpapers? it really sucks to have to scroll past a handful of them every time to go from my newest one to the first couple I made. Googling it I just get a few results from two-ish years ago talking about the issue without any real solution.
Surely this has to be one of those under-the-radar iOS 18 updates if it cannot be done already somewhere on the phone.

 

I'm a little disappointed by the rumours for the new iPhone and Watch this year. Will wait to see though as I skipped last year

 

Same but my 12 Mini has been driving me insane so I'll probably upgrade regardless; it'll be my first day one upgrade maybe ever? I'll be going 16 Pro Max.

 

Not any way that I'm aware of. Nothing is different with it in iOS 18.

Jet black watch looks sleek. If I was in the market for a watch this year I'd absolutely get that. Loved my jet black phone.

This is the part I'm most excited for as I have a series 6 so it's going to be the only thing I'm upgrading. I was going to go ultra because of the size, but now with the larger regular size I'm torn.

 

Gonna be a while after my stainless steel series 9 last year

Im confused, does the Hermes Ultra come in black? I have always been interested in the Ultra, but the color was just kinda ugly imo. An Hermes one in this new black color would be stunning.

 

I believe Sony make such a product.

I do think it’s unfortunate Apple has the Max’s at $550 and couldn’t get it down to $499.
