Still not a good film but like A3 I enjoyed the kills. I’m off work today so I’ll try to get through Prometheus and Covenant.

But holy shit The Taking of Deborah Logan is so scary

 

Yeah it seems odd to base your entire platform around that. Unless it's some sort of add-on service to something that already exists? Maybe IDK what I'm talking about though

Man, people have TRIED to bring Tales back but WB wants to be dicks about it. There isn’t even an HD transfer of the show, the best you’re gonna get is CryptTube, which is the best we’ve gotten so far.

 

I miss that show so much

Honestly I can't recall but has there been a moment in any of the movies where he tries to call and someone just doesn't answer? I'd prob hit ignore thinking it's spam

I think he almost always calls as someone they know, at least post-cellphone lol but I would have the same instinct

 

Watched the original Nightmare on Elm Street last night (wanted a comfort watch) and man, what a banger. I know the honest answer is probably Halloween, but I feel like this franchise has to have the biggest dropoff in quality. The sequels just keep spinning their wheels after Dream Warriors.

i like most of the elm street movies more than i should tbh

1&3 are definitely the best though. 3 might actually be my personal favorite.

I know we've had this discussion before but there's just no way New Nightmare is a spinning-your-wheels sequel lol, all the bad NOES films are way more stupid fun than the bad Halloweens

 

And I like most of the Friday movies more than I should, lol

 

New Nightmare isn't spinning its wheels, but it is boring as hell imo. The Halloween sequels mostly try something new to varying degrees of success. Can't say the same for NOES 4-6

 

I feel like I should like New Nightmare more than I actually do, haha.
