if they're gonna put this much consistent effort into making and releasing music, why don't they make another Radiohead album? like i'm more or less down for whatever from either project, but it's been 8 years, lol

 

from all accounts, when they’ve come together as a whole the writing hasn’t been there, and everyone has their side projects. you know it isn’t just thom and jonny right? also tom skinner seems like a big factor into the smile staying busy

 

for anyone who hasn't been following the past few days, they've been teasing the LP3 tracklist all over social media with puzzles that are solved with cyphers (with the key/password often being cutouts)

is what there's so far, it's been 3 puzzles a day but only 2 posted/solved so far today i believe - so a ninth track likely on the tracklist today

 

i'm well aware. i'm just saying they've continually teased wanting to work on more music as a 5 piece for several years now and nothing's come of it. if they're busy with their other projects and can't get the writing for Radiohead in a good enough place to make an album, i understand that. but at least say that. every time they're asked about another album, it feels like the same cycle of "we're gonna meet about working on new music", months/years ago by without updates, another member/side project releases new music, and the cycle starts over. just at least say something like "we're on hiatus" if they can't get an album together or aren't touring as a 5 piece.
