Something Corporate and Andrew McMahon have shared a live video for “Death Grip.”

August 22, 2024 – As Something Corporate gear up to resume their Out Of Office Tour tonight, the beloved early 2000s pop-punk band has released the official live video of their recent single “Death Grip” from their sold-out New York City show at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in June. The indie-pop track marked the first new song release from Something Corporate in over 20 years and has since been followed by their latest single “Happy,” which is now impacting at radio and is the #1 most added song at Triple A this week. The two new songs, available via Big Loud Rock as collaborations with frontman Andrew McMahon’s solo moniker Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, have received media support from the likes of PEOPLE, Variety, Rolling Stone, Consequence, BrooklynVegan, Alternative Press, and Atwood Magazine, as well as global playlisting support across all DSPs. To commemorate the success of the Out Of Office Tour and the band’s return to Southern California, Something Corporate is hosting a special two-show livestream event via VEEPS on Friday, October 11th featuring the entirety of the New York City show and then that evening’s Los Angeles show at the famed Hollywood Palladium. Something Corporate – Andrew McMahon (vocals, piano), Josh Partington(guitar), Kevin “Clutch” Page (bass), Brian Ireland (drums), and William Tell(guitar) – first reunited in 2023 for main stage performances at the When We Were Young festival and three sold-out headlining shows in Las Vegas and Anaheim. The five reunion performances, the first official shows from the band’s five core members in two decades, also saw McMahon debut a one-of-a-kind upright piano fully wrapped in Christie MicroTiles LED displaying images and lyrics from throughout Something Corporate’s catalog, which is front and center on the Out Of Office Tour.
