The future is so bright. So, yeah, it would seem this is what the future holds:

1) Harris is elected. Genocide in Gaza continues. Ukraine/Russia war continues. Other atrocities worldwide continue. In the US, MAGA rebellion ensues and makes January 6 look like an absolute joke in comparison. Trump will continue to urge his followers to perpetrate acts of violence for the remainder of his life, and they will continue to do so even after his death.

2.) Trump is elected. Genocide in Gaza continues. Ukraine/Russia war continues. Other atrocities worldwide continue. Now immune to legal consequences, thanks to the ruling of immunity for all presidential actions, he is free to do whatever he pleases. We will hope he uses this newfound power and his thirst for vengeance responsibly.

TBf the research cost much more than that BUT that's why instead of charging people as shitton for a life saving vaccine, maybe the govt can reward companies with funding to make up for that cost or whatever and let the price of the drug stay low

My point is that as an outside observer I’m able to imagine a hypothetical scenario where the situation gets worse but for somebody actually experiencing the genocide my hypothetical is already their reality. Thus the point doesn’t land.

 

Because I still have even the tiniest of hopes Kamala will reverse course. I wasn't talking about if the point lands with said Palestinians you're referring to, I was talking about what i resonated with in your post myself.

 

i just want to ask to reconfirm all the people who say kamala would be better for palestinians. there is no evidence, no proof, nothing to interpret, nothing to point to. you guys just hope.
