Not sure why post count is such a big deal to anyone. Sure I guess it's somewhat fun to watch it go up, but I really don't care that my 8,000 or so didn't transfer. This removes a lot of the intimidation factor for new users.

 

plus, post count doesn't even show up on this site unless you go into people's profiles

 

I would rather my posts not have transferred over because of my early years, hahah

Tristan hit the nail on the head. A few people thought because they had a pretty high post-count below their avatar, they were entitled to treat people however they wanted. At least that's my perspective from exchanges I saw over the years.
