Andreas still loves us.

 

Andreas Perreira putting in a 0/10 performance to start the season.

 

I gotta be honest and I don’t want to exaggerate… that Andreas pass was maybe the worst pass attempt on a 2 on 1 that I’ve seen in all my years watching this sport.

Half good, half bad. Better than last year. Hopefully we look better after the international break, when Mazraoui, De Ligt, and Zirkzee are all actually match fit and Hojlund is back. Hopefully a midfielder in, and a little bit more luck in front of goal. Casemiro looks a LOT better in this system than last season, even his timing of slide tackle is much improved.

Is Zirkzee coming off an injury? Why didn’t he start?

 

Striker got injured in preseason, new striker that was bought didn’t have one. Bruno, Martinez, Mainoo, Garnacho, Dalot (our best players) all haven’t had one either. Like the entirety of last season they’re starting this one with no healthy left back again. Things of course looked shaky at times but there’s context for this.
