For years I would have to listen at least once before shelving but most don’t even get that anymore, so I’ve slowed down the buying. These days I prioritize a) new albums with cool variants from longtime favorites and b) new albums from small bands for the sake of supporting, especially at shows.

Even within those 2 groups I’ve started to further prioritize more “beautiful” sounding albums, which are generally quieter, have orchestral parts, artsy, etc. idk, I have a hard time telling myself a loud or brash album is a better listening experience on vinyl compared to Bluetooth on nice speakers than an album that needs undivided attention, even if it’s just placebo.

Take This To Heart found extra copies of “What It Is To Burn” and “Perhaps, I Suppose”. I wish they knew what media mail was, but happy Friday to me.

10 minute warning for BLG "Crazy World"!!

I'll admit I passed on this album when it came out. But its just a breezy great pop/rock album I must say!

I listened to Crazy World yesterday for the first time in awhile, and there is so much more pop-country influence on there than I ever remember.

I think that's what turned me off was the pop/country initially. But I mean I was 29 when the album came out, things change I guess!!

Got the new Kacey Musgraves and Green Day at Target for $20 total, crazyyy

  19. I got Deeper Well for $25 at UO. I like the alt cover (and don't like the Target variant color)

I really (don't) need to check my Target(s) though.

I thought you meant the Thrice EP. So I immediately went to UO and typed in “Deeper Well.” Boy was I disappointed lol.

  21. Haha oh no! I was sort of replying to the post above mine. Sorry for the confusion!

Haha. It’s cool. I’m just not familiar with her so didn’t make the connection.

Got my Sum 41 All Killer record from uDiscover yesterday. The inner sleeve was somehow torn to shreds and there's no insert, but it's a cool variant and cost 9 bucks so I can't be mad about it.

Times are TOUGH so I’m gonna sell off a chunk of my collection. A select few artists I’m not going to part with it, but if you see anything in here that interests you, message me and maybe we can work something out. Wanted to give the chorus users first dibs. Anything helps :’)
