Interesting one off here, not my thing. Really hoping she continues down the path she was going for LG7…Gesaffelstein, Goldfrapp and Depeche Mode being involved in the production makes me think this will be a darker album.

 

Was not expecting much from this, I thought it was going to be another Hold My Hand type song, but I actually think it's pretty fun and they both sound great.

But I agree I hope LG7 is darker/does not follow suit. I do think it might be a more dance rock leaning album. The vocals on this single kind of remind me of what she was doing on the Rolling Stones song from last year, so I wonder if that's what she's going for right now.

 

I don't know if you guys heard the three snippets shared (one from the end of the Chromatica Ball film, the other two leaked by Lady Gaga outside of a hotel during her Paris stint) but it sounds like industrial rock/dark dancier sounds are returning for the next album.

I've been dreaming about an album that pushes that side of her harder since Born This Way/ARTPOP so I'm crossing fingers this comes to fruition.

 

Second one is so Depeche Mode/New Order coded and must have Gesaffelstein at the helm.
